2006 2 days of guest lectures in Malaysia on German animation:
- The One Academy, Kuala Lumpur
- University Sultan Idris, Tajong Malim

In September 2006  Hannes Rall , together with Malay animation expert Hassan Muthalib, visited several educational institutions in Malaysia, among them the One Academy in Kuala Lumpur. Equipped with state of the art technology, the One academy educates young professionals from Malaysia  in a very accomplished and sophisticated way.
Students were watching a program selected from the best German independent animation and student works to gain greater insight in European design and animation concepts.

A lively Q&A session ended the session, which allowed to explain things more deeply.
A longer meeting with the school´s management allowed for the discussion and comparison of the similiarities and differences in education for animation in different countries.
